Can we downgrade

If the update won't work as well as expected, is there any way to downgrade the OS back to 8.0?

Just as said in the opening of the OP.

Different people have different criteria and expectations. What if it breaks a relied upon piece of carrierware? What if they don't care for some of the new features? Not everyone wants to jump into an untested future.

What if they just want the simple assurance all will not be lost?
