Can you download a backup AFTER setting up the phone??? Please help!

So my cousin just backed up his 920 and did a hard reset but he messed up the part where you download the backup so now he lost all his data, IS THERE ANY WAY TO DOWNLOAD THE BACKUP AGAIN???
