Can you tell a difference between a refurbished 1520 and a new 1520?????

I found one that is pretty cheap but before they respond to me I want to know if there are any indicators that would tip me off that a phone may look new in packaging, but is indeed a refurbished unit??? Any way I can tell......

I would think some refurbs come in different boxes. I can't say for sure though.

You may want to make sure the phones IMEI matches the IMEI on the box.

Honestly though if you get a legit refurb it's not the end of the world. Any phone returned for any reason becomes a refurb. If someone decides they would rather have an Andriod or iphone and returns their windows phone after 5 days it's a refurb. Is that phone less than brand new?

The only thing I would say is people are easily selling these phones for $400+ on ebay. An allegedly new phone for less than $250 should set your alarm bells off.

Over here in the UK refurbished phones don't have a box or rather just a generic box and charger, nothing else.
