Cannot connect Bluetooth to any device on my Lumia 735, why?

cannot connect bluetooth to any device on my lumia 735.

worked fine until a couple of days ago. It says it's connected but will not engage any other device. I also had recent problems with the sd card which I had to bin. Phone kept saying it did not recognise the data, lost music, photos and documents. Are these common problems in what at first appeared to be a great mid-range phone or have I bought a dud? 5 month old phone?

Try a soft reset first. Most likely addressable with a hard reset. If not, then it's hw, so you'd then need to replace it under warranty
