Cannot save to SD Card

I am not able to save to my SD card. I have the phone set to save all new pictures and music to the SD card, but that isn't happening. I am never able to access the media after it is saved. I see that there is stuff on it from the storage app. I have reformatted the card. The system notices the card because it asks if I want to save music and photos on it. I have tried multiple cards. Any ideas? Or is my phone's SD card component actually broken? Yes, I have done a soft reset.

Try using your card in another phone, to rule out the issue is with the card.
