can't log into computer

all it has on the screen is picture of my son

Have you tried a hard reboot? Plus, a littble nit more information would probably get you an answer faster.

Click on it with your mouse... If you are new to Win 8.1 it is like a lock screen on a smartphone and it can show the picture you choose, plus statuses and notifications even when the computer is locked. Clicking will take you to the log in box...
