Can't remember my MS account password...

Hi,

I have a Lumia 1020 and just updated to 8.1 on Sunday... but stupid me I can't remember my MS account password (@live.com) so I can't update the apps or use anything else that needs my MS account.

I set it up quickly and I had the phone remember my password... I just forward emails from my Hotmail to this account to see my emails (I was able to add my Hotmail account after 8.1 ) but have never sign in to add any personal info... <face palm>

I tried to recover my password but I don't have enough info for MS to verify me.

Should I rest my phone and create a new live.com account or can I delete my current one and create a new one without resting the phone?

Straight to the point: There isn't a way to change the Microsoft account without hard resetting the phone. At all. Period. If you can't pass the ACSR form then you'll need to reset the phone and start with a new Microsoft account.
