Cant upate my lumia 520

i have register at app studio and also downloaded developer preview but when i update after it restarts the windows 8 will come still instead of the newer version 8.1

there are two updates. One prepares the phone for 8.1 and the other one is massive and actually installs 8.1

check for updates again to install the huge update. I recommend you reset your phone after it installs to get rid of any lag or battery problems.
