Can't update to Windows 10 mobile build 10586

I tried to install build 10536 once it released but couldn't. So I had to continue with Windows Phone 8.1. Now when I try to update to 10586 Windows insider app shows that it cannot install a new build as your phone is preparing an update (10536). What do I do? Please help.

Then I'm afraid your stuck in limbo as you most likely will need to roll back to WP8.1 before updating to the GA release.

What "Phone Update" says in settings? Send screenshot so that I can help you more.

It shows that an update is ready to download. Under details, it says 10536 build number.

Check, automatic download if my data allows it. Keep it for night turning your Wifi on. That's it!

Reset, the phone is the only option then.
