Can't use the message app after upgrading to Windows 10 mobile official release, what can I do?

Can't use the messge app after upgading to windows 10 mobile official release

When I tried to open the message app, it's saying that I need to go to Settings>Privacy> Contacts to turn on the access of the message. But the access permissions are not editable in Contacts....., the off/on switch is missing....

That makes the message app totally unusable in Win 10 mobile.

BTW, I am using Lumia 830.

have you updated all the apps in the store?? do perform a hard reset if you haven't after upgrading.

hard reset- settings>system>about>reset phone

I was asked to VERIFY my phone and account... Now works great apart from no Sound Notifications
