Car charger with Quick charge

Hi guys, I am looking for a car charger that supports Quick charge.

I waited until my Lumia 950 XL DS was at around 8% Battery left, plugged it in and measured ~570mA
The original wall charger that came with the phone has around ~2A...

So I was wondering if anyone found a car charger that can really quick charge the 950XL...

It charges my Lumia 950 quickly. Just Monday, my phone was completely dead, didn't have it placed on the Qi charging pad the night before. On the ~25 minute drive to work, it charged my phone up to 50%.

Hey There,

I don't know much about this, but what I do know is that for the Microsoft USB C Devices you need to have a car charger that is usb c to usb c (3A) to get a fast charge. When using USB A to usb C, it does something to something and doesnt result in 3A at the phones end.

The option posted by jmshub will work as the cable is directly fixed to the charger and is USB C 3A.

The key to finding a suitable charger is to understand that the Lumia 950/xl do not use "quick charge", they use "rapid charge". Those are just marketing terms for different technologies which yield similar results. The quick variety varies voltage during charge, and the rapid variety varies amperage.

They are not interchangeable. Look for a charger that specifies the new lumias and/or nexus 5x/6p - they all use rapid charge.

You sure about that? Lumia 950 XL has the Snapdragon 808, which has quick charge...

I bought another AUKEY charger with a USB-C cable directly connected to it. At least I'm now getting around 1150 mAh...

I use this since nov2015 with my 950XL. Bought some anker usb type c to type c cables to go with it. Quite pleased with it, fast charging changed everything! Didn't care so much about battery life anymore since then

For what it's worth, I too have the Tronsmart and it charges my 950XL really fast
