change FB messenger app notification sound win10

so..I find the 'DING!' noise in the fb messenger app to be annoying..brief, and not the slightest bit helpful when its just a 'ding' and done.

so, I would like to know how to change the notification sound.

Open Search box and type Control Panel. In Control Panel change the layout to large icon on your uper right corner "View By". Now locate "Sound" and click to open it Now in popup window again locate "Sound" click it now you can select the sounds and notifications as per your need and liking.
