change region - what about music pass

Sorry if this has been asked before, been searching but unable to find an answer

I am wanting to try out Cortana in the UK, I know what I need to do I just have a concern

I am a xbox music pass subscriber (occasionally buy xbox videos also but music is main one)

If I set my region to US what effect will this have on my music pass?, wondering if all the music I have downloaded from UK store will become unplayable as I would have changed to US region

I don't have an answer for you, but a word of warning: go carefully when updating any region details in MS's systems. It can, as you suggest, have unintended consequences. Plus they won't quite get it right (if my experience in daring to tell them I'd moved country is anything to go by).

This is why I want to be a bit cautious about it, don't want any bad effects to go into my PC or Xbox
If only the phone gets screwed up and changing it back to UK fixes it I don't mind, but I don't want to mess up my whole MS account

I can confirm that it won't affect your music pass or the music on it.

I use one and never had any issues with my phone setup as US.

If you prefer not to risk it however then wait till next week and you'll get Cortana for the UK
