Changing password to Live account

I'm not sure if this was ever asked before but say I wanted to change the password to my Live account linked to my phone, how can I update that info on my phone without a hard reset?

Just change the Live ID password on a PC.
Go to your Windows Phone, acconts and emails
Long press on the Windows Live account and tap Sync.
It will notify you to tap and correct sync error.
Tap and enter your new passowrd there....DONE!

Interestingly, and totally hypothetically, what if I didn't have a PC? Or even access to one? In other words, is a PC absolutely necessary? I imaging the phones browser could also be used if there is no way to change it within the account setup?

Didn't do it like Los, but still did the same thing logged on to live.com and changed my password and my Lumia is back up to scratch. After updating all the apps.
