Charge only

Hi all.

Loving my 8x so far. Just wondering if there is a way to set it to charge only when connected to usb.

The reason I ask is because i would like to plug it into my work pc to charge but I don't want it to be visible as a storage device, for some reason work frowns on that

You can just disable usb mass storage in the registry on your pc. Check number 1 on this page:

Of course, to do that you need administrator rights on your pc.

Wouldn't it be more convenient to just get another wall charger, it will charge faster and your boss will never walk by and wonder why your phone is plugged into your pc.
