Charging issues

Just got the icon a few days ago and at night when I go to bed I plug it in and hear the noise go off for charging, but when I wake up it hasn't charged. Did the same last night and I made sure it had charging icon. Phone still didn't charge. During the day it charges fine. Any ideas

I have the same problems with my 920, its happened a few times. I put it on its charging mat, go to bed and it hasn't charged much at all in the morning. Its the most frustrating thing ever, and it doesn't make any sense either :/

What percentage did you plug in at, how long was it on the charger, and what percentage did you unplug at?

Both nights at about 25% left. When I wake up just under 25%

Have you tested with different outlets? Made sure both the outlet and the micro usb are fully plugged in? It doesn't matter whether it's day or night, the phone will charge the same. My bet is it has more to do with where you're charging it and the cord you're using when you charge it at night.

It is the cord for the icon and have used the same outlet for all my phones. Was charging my note 3 just fine the night before.

For charging, you should use the cord that came with the phone.

Still not sure why it won't charge at night. My wife's phone charged fine on same outlet. Used charger it came with and other chargers. Just glad it charges fast in the morning
