Charging Lumia with kindle fire charger?

Is it ok to charge the lumia with the kindle fire fast charger (black model)?

As long as the charger puts out 5 Volts (5V) which I am almost certain it does, it should work perfectly fine. Aren't standards nice?

I use a Kindle Fire charger with my 640 every day - no issues at all. I often use a Samsung one....a Lumia 920 one....and an iPhone one....all without a problem. :smile:
