Just got a Surface Pro 3, two days ago at a Microsoft Store. I usually charge my computer after shutdown. My question is, how can I tell when my SP3 is finished charging? Will the charging connector light go out, or what? I can't seem to find any information on this anywhere. Thanks.

The only way is to check it from what I can tell.

Sadly there is no external indicator that the battery is fully charged. The light on the connector will always be lit up when it is connected to the SP3 (if it is seated properly).

But there is no need to worry about having the battery overcharged. The internal circuitry will slow, then eventually stop charging the battery.

Personally, I just flip the keyboard over the screen, connect the charge cord, and go to bed. In the morning the system is fully charged and ready to go for the day.

Well no wonder I can't find any info on this. There isn't any. Thanks for the reply, guys.
