Charging Times?

My phone came with 50% battery. I've had it on a USB cable most of the day since 11:30 AM. I had it off with heavy use for one hour. There was very little battery drain but the most I've gotten the charge up to is 75%.

I guess these high capacity batteries take a while!

Anyone else seeing slow charge times?

Make sure you are using a 2.1 amp charger. Otherwise, it will take forever to charge.

Put it on your charger, USB may not give the greatest charging rates.

the output of the OEM charger with the phone is 1.5 Amp it's not a 2.1 Amp charger.

I bought the incipio wireless PMA charging case and can go from 50% to full in about 1.5 hours on the duracell powermat

The OEM AC charger does charge much faster than the USB port did on my PC. I can see it on the Battery Pro+ app graph. It appears to be around 5 to 10 times faster.

I even had it plugged into USB port 1 on my PC. Typically those will sometimes work faster (on some motherboards) than the case ports.
