Cheap Type-C cables don't work
I got a Lumia 950XL and need more USB A to C cables. I bought a few off eBay, Amazon, and a few local shops and none of them worked for the Lumia, though they worked with other devices like Macbooks.
Why is this happening? I can't buy those branded cables like the Belkin one Windows Central has on offer now - shipping to Singapore usually costs more than the item.
