Having just started developing apps, and seeing what is on the horizon for Windows Phone owners...........WOW ! Be patient a bit longer and prepare to have you mind blown. The Windows Phone 8.1+ Revolution Evolution is near.

I'll have some Roquefort if you don't mind. :)

Here are the people's issues in a nut shell.

- it's taken way too long to get this update out
- the update is rolling out very slowly
- features released are average
- MS is too US focused
- MS advertisement is dismal
- MS seems to care more about other ecosystems than it's own. Their own offerings on WP are pretty pathetic.
- Market share hasn't moved or dropped in some places
- Newest phones are fairly mediocre (L630, L635 and L930)
- Lots of rumours of new handsets but nothing materializing soon
- When new products are released they seem to take forever to roll out
- people are tired of carrier specific phones
- WP seems to be full of low end low spec phones
- WP seems to be plagued with issues with its OS and hardware

I may have missed one or two but that's seems to be the majority of issues.

That's some serious hype there, lol. Hope for Microsoft' sake it's as revolutionary as some want it to be.

Whereas with Windows Pc software we the users as you know to well have beta tested Microsoft to where it is. The XAML / Mobile platform is solid as a rock, quick access, and still evolving. I sincerely believe it will be to an impressive end. Thank You for taking the time to comment.

I'm sorry but a smartphone is different than a PC. Not saying there's never an issue with PCs but the smartphone industry is a different animal. People are a lot less forgiving due to choice.

Thank You for taking the time to comment. I know the applications I've seen in dev. lab are leading edge. Both Entertainment and Intelli-Tool projects on the board are geared for greater productivity with minimal labor. Most virtually hands free. I hope all are sooner than later, but correct at the outset most importantly !
