clean install or backup

:smile: my 830 came today should I install the backup from my last 830 or do a clean install.
if I do a install from back up will it put the items back were they was on the screen

I've always gone the clean install route myself but I guess you could try the backup and hard reset and do a clean install if the backup doesn't work out.

thanks I didn't think I was that far remove from the win phone but isn't a windows phone app fro the computer.
and all of my songs didn't siync how do i forgot them back and the last was is ringtones for got how to add them
I have them on a sd card which I don't see anywhere

Sometimes the music takes a while to be recognized. I don't really know why.

Though if your sd card isn't showing up, that could be part of the problem. Try re-seating the sd card.

The ringtones need to be in the ringtones folder under "phone". You can copy them there from your sd card once you get that to show up.

got it its like riding a bike just had to play with it a while. hope it holds up. but it almost like the bb you connected.
the only one they had was a white one I might order the black back. or a case any good ones that wont add to much bulk.
really like the music aspect of the windows I can almost listen to full cd free. Im sure i will have more question later.
