When you damn mods close a thread, how's about marking it as closed?

I just wrote a reply in a thread (in the app), and only got told the thread was closed when I tried to send it.

Arrrggghh!

Threads do get marked as closed when mods close them.

A thread that is closed should display a lock icon.

You can't see in wpcentral app, lock icon is shown in tapatalk, or in the browser. In WPC, you just can't comment. Then you should understand its closed

It is a small marker, one of the smallest closed thread markers I have come across on the web, to the point of being un-noticeable.

Not nearly as infuriating as typing a reply while the thread is still open only to have a mod close it while you're still typing. That sucks.

It's true. I just took a look.

I usually use Tapatalk for the forums instead of the WPCentral app, since Tapatalk has mod tools like closing threads which the WPCentral app lacks.

Argh!! You did it to me again!! Closed a thread before I finished typing a reply all because some engineer called me for some stupid information and diverted me away from my computer. The nerve of some people to call you at work and interrupt WPC business.
