Closing email aggravation!

Everyone in my family has a Surface RT and we all have the same issue. Why is it so difficult to close the email app sometimes? We swipe down, swipe down, swipe down, swipe down, swipe down THEN it will finally close. Not one other application has the same issue.

Anyone else have this?

I have not had that issue; have you gotten the latest update? Is the email syncing when this happens?

I never close any of my apps.
But if I ever wanted to, the down swipe has to start on the bezel above the screen, be brisk, and go all the way off the bottom of the screen.

No problems here with first gen RT.

I know exactly what you are talking about and feel your pain. Sometimes I don't have time to deal with it so I just hit the Windows button and turn the screen off. This issue should definitely be addressed. I know it's not my swiping technique because I don't have this issue with other apps.

Yes, this happens to me too. Although with each update it is a little better there are still times when it is near impossible to swipe down and close.
