I've had my Band 2 for about week. I just thought of the negative of using heart rate on the Band versus chest strap like my Garmin: exposed skin. Anyone have any suggestions on how to track heart rate, keep the Band exposed for GPS all the while keeping warm in the cold? I can just picture my wrist freezing in 20 degree weather...

I haven't had any issues with mine. I wear mine on my bare wrist and then pull my hoodie sleeve over it. It works fine, but the drawback is pulling the sleeve up, turning the screen on, and hitting the action button to pause/resume at intersections.

The only time it has failed me is when I had a poor GPS lock to begin with. Every other time I've had no issue. I can have a heavy winter coat on and it won't be affected. Most GPS antennas are built well enough to work from the inside of a car.

Cool. My Garmin Forerunner would struggle under a bridge or a tree with leaves. I thought for sure thick fabric would be an issue. Thanks!
