Compass calibration?

Does anyone else here noticed that their 810 compass constantly needs recalibration (the figure 8 motion)? Or is it just my phone?

My lumia 920 ask for compass calibration every time I open city lens or any other compass app

Been having this issue since Amber. Thank god my life doesn't depend on the compass.
