computer crashes, requires startup repair, whilst gaming

[Windows Central Question]

This happens whilst gaming. It can freeze/crash at any time and in any game. The computer will then no longer boot up and I will need to perform the start up repair. The computer works fine after that for a while until the next crash inevitably happens.

There isn't any performance issues or any hint at anything wrong prior to the crash.

Hope someone has an answer for me.

Hi Lee, Welcome to Windows Central. I don't know your computer skills, but here are some of the best links I have found about your issue. There can be many reasons for freeze/crash. I like a freeware program called 'Who Crashed' I'll give you the links for these. These should help you with your issue. If you need more help, please join the forum.
