Always thought they should do something like this.
And the part where you insert the phone should be resizable so that it will fit future smartphones too.

The phone docking as the trackpad just does not seem sensible to me as a production feature - not sure why a simple interface is not good enough to use. Moreover a vrey cheap laptop would do a better job than the phone anyway.

It doesn't just have to be a track pad, like the Razer Switchblade, where it also has icons to quickly open Continuum-enabled apps on the fly.
