Contact name doesn't show up when calling

Let's say I have Bob as a saved contact with the phone number 123-456-7890. Usually when he calls me, it shows up as "Incoming call from Bob". However, sometimes it shows up as "Incoming call from 123-456-7890" and the associated contact name doesn't show up. The issue is always resolved when I restart the phone, however it's very frustrating that this happens in the first place. Has anyone else experienced this issue? I have a Lumia 920.

This started happening to me on WP8.1 it seems to be a bug, possibly to do with country codes

If your contact is in your sim card, perhaps you should try moving it to your device memory.

Question: Is this happening for all of your contacts? or with few of them ?

I have thhe same issue. just started recently. If the phone rings, all I see is the #-- No name. When I look at the call history, it is the same thing. Eventually, the #'s in the phone history do convert over to the proper name. It is irritating. I have the phone updated to the last update(Black)
