Contact specific ring and text tones not functioning.

I'm running the latest 10.0.14393.105 build and for some reason when I set user specific ring and text tones my phone plays the default tones. I know this issue existed in the past as well, any resolution to fix it?

tried removing and adding the tone back?

I have not, but thank you I'll give that a try and see if it resolves the issue.
