Contacts help needed

Hi friends,

I just bought a lumia 1020. I'm new to windows lumia phones. So don't know much & need some help.

How do I save my contacts (mobile numbers & other details) in the phone memory? When I try to add contacts, it asks me to select an account (online account - microsoft or google). I don't want to add my mobile numbers on an online site. I just want them on my phone.
Can someone please help me in doing this?

Contacts have to be associated with an email account. That way, your contacts will always be backed up. There is no other way to store contacts.
