Copy Pictures to the Phone

Ok, I am doing something really stupid here. I can't seem to copy pictures from my laptop which is Windows 7 with Zune installed. Can someone either point me to a document or list the steps?

Thanks in advance for something so hopefully simple!

The way I've been doing it is having the phone as the selected the device in the software and right clicking on the pic(s) and then clicking sync to focus

I usually just upload them to a new folder on my SkyDrive.

Seriously. It's like the WP7 team actually figured out a use for SkyDrive besides the occasional file sync. If only it started working for Word and Excel files *fingers crossed*
