Cortana Battery Hog?

After a I come home from work my battery life was usually around 50%, I thought today I would turn Cortana off all together, I never use it anyway so no major loss, I came home today with battery life at 72%.

Could it be Cortana draining my battery so badly?

No. Its the location services. Cortana is battery friendly like all other WP apps. But location in poor reception or indoors area drains battery.
