Cortana, be quiet!

I want to continue to use Hey Cortana ... but I don't want her hollering her responses all over my office, or interrupting whatever audio I'm playing, to respond. Is there a way to silence her, without otherwise disabling her?

I wondering the same thing. She practically yells with the volume not even half way up, which it needs to be to barely hear any other audio. Everyone in my office jumps when she starts screaming. I hope there is a way to turn her volume down.
