Cortana certified hardware (all in one)

I seems strange for Microsoft to have Cortana and yet not have official hardware that would enable Cortana to be used similar to Alexa (in regards to the quality of the microphone and being able to interact with Cortana anywhere in the house).

I did a search for the Kinect thinking that might be their solution but that seems to be dragging its feet and also, quite complicated then just buy said product, plug into PC and you're up and running.

Is Microsoft planning on making Cortana a much better version of Alexa for PC Users?

Cortana runs from devices such as pcs, tablets, phones, xbox. So I'm not sure what extra device you would need to run Cortana?

From searching around I still have yet to find the kind of microphone that is Cortana certified and able to hear speech from across the room, like Alexa can.

Everything seems to be good for about a few feet at max but then you get issues.

So it would be great to have a device like the Kinect that can act as both a top notch camera and a highly sensitive microphone with excellent sound processing and noise cancellation.
