Cortana - control via headphones?

Hi guys,
I was wondering if someone can test this for me since I don't have the dev preview:

Using a pair of headphones with control button + mic... Can you 'long press' the button and see if Cortana listens for a hands free experience?

In 8.0 you can long press as long as you were on the Start Screen and as long as you weren't playing music. would love if Cortana can do it anytime with headphones plugged in.

iPhone 3 button headphones almost never work on WP. It works fine with a compatible one-button headset. Press and hold, and it works anytime.

Guess I will have to try and find one. Does it launch straight into voice search for Cortana?

OMG awesome! Does it even work while music is playing? For example, I'm out for a jog listening to music... I press and hold, will it pause the song and let me ask my question (e.g. What time is it?) and she'll tell me and then the song resumes?

Well, Cortana doesn't currently answer "what time is it", but I locked the screen and then performed the following commands over the headset right in a row with no issue:

Shuffle my music
Play next track
Drive to work (here, it asked me to unlock my phone first)
Stop music
Play 10000 Days
Send a message to Mom Hi

Epic.. that's a lot better than what it does in 8.0, so I'm happy
