Cortana: Find my phone

Hello,

I have an HP x360 and a 950 XL both Cortana activated. Time to time I used Cortana on PC to ring my phone because I had no clue where it could be. This morning i dropped my phone under my bed and I tried to use Cortana on my HP to ring my phone because i didn't know where it was, but the "Ring my phone" or "Find my phone" features didn't do anything.

Cortana only told me: "Sure, I'l try and ring your phone" then basically does nothing. However if log in on browser in my Microsoft account and try to ring it from there it works! Could anyone test if these feature still works or is it just me having bad luck with Cortana.

@Barta Szabolcs, Nope! didn't connect (950XL)

Update: duh! had the volume tuned down...so it DOES actually work (takes about 30 seconds to connect).

Thank you for your answer. So I will do a hard reset, maybe that will sort out.

LE: Hard reset did the job! "Ring/Find my phone" works again.
