Cortana for Android

Ok so the latest update has cortana for android but android cortana is not available for downloading in the UK.
Any idea when it will be?

It says Cortana isn't available on Android in the UK here, I'm not sure when that will change.

Have you tried side-loading the APK onto your UK device to see if it still works?

Good idea. Installed this morning. A bit of a disappointment so now uninstalled
