What came to mind was what is under the hood...Typically an appliance (server end) is something pre-configured and the end user does not need to worry about the operating system. It is tuned by the manufacture and the user simply needs to turn it on.

For 4 years now I have wanted Cortana from Halo 4 walking around my house. Literally, that's the kind of AI I want.

Whoa - that would be little freaky and yet awesome too! All I can think about is waking up in the middle of the night to go to the bathroom and seeing "Cortana" in the hallway or something. I would probably make a mess!
