Cortana Immediately Crashes. What Fixes Are There?

Hi, everyone. Some update a while back essentially broke Cortana from me, and when I open the app, Cortana will appear for roughly a second before consistently crashing. I've read several takes at fixing this issue, but wanted to see if anyone else had ideas.

Several mentioned the region/language check, and indeed I am in a supported region and have it set as such. Still crashes right upon opening. Any other suggestions? I really don't want to do a hard reset because I'd like to keep my local pictures instead of them just being OneDrive reads. Thanks in advance.

Have the same problem. Mine can search if you type, but clicking on the microphone will cause Cortana to crash. Would going onto insider program help?

solution

Get into windows inside program slow release. Cortana works without issus now.
