Cortana: Location Based Reminders

Works perfectly.
When setting it up, make sure you let Cortana know the exact location where the reminder has to be triggered.
Eg. If i tell Cortana "Remind me to buy milk when I get to Safeway", she(it) will automatically pull the nearest Safeway store and confirm if that is the location I wanted her(it) to remember.
Other nearby Safeway stores are also displayed in case i wanted to choose a different one

Can you set it to remind you at any Safeway store? Google Now recently implemented that option. It's convenient for chain stores that are plentiful, such as Walmart.

Yes when you ask her to remind you about something at Safeway, she will bring up a list of Safeway locations unless you have a specific Safeway saved as a favorite. On the top of that list it should say any Safeway.

It works well for me. The one thing I have noticed is if it's a first time reminder at a place, it takes a while for the reminder to trigger. Subsequent reminders to that place have tripped as soon as I walked in the door.

I have added lots of reminders... None of them have triggered yet. Locationbased services, geofencing is on. Seems broken for me.

I have only used it twice for when I got home, but both times it triggered as I was unlocking my front door. I actually forgot about the reminder, and checked my phone because I didn't recognize the notification sounds.

My location based reminders are not working :/
Cortana recognizes the places (I saved all the places in her notebook) but she never reminds me.
Time based reminders work well, but location based reminders don't.

It worked for me today swimmingly. I asked her to remind me to "lock my car" when I got to work (couldn't think of a real task on the spot).
I was most of the way to the front doors when she reminded me. Not bad.

Some one please help me. Cortana is able to register my reminders in her notebook but she isn't reminding me about those reminders....i tried many times but still ahe ain't reminding me. What should I do ??

These reminders are fo not involve geofencing

I have the same problem... Also location reminders don't work (Cortana adds them to her notebook but never reminds me for anything)

I live in the USA, so my experience might differ from yours. I have used it extensively. Works for me. Of course, sometimes it is a little off. Example; I ask it to remind me to buy X at any Starbucks and it alerts me by the light near a Starbucks.
It will not be perfect. The same way your gps says, "you have arrived at your destination" when you are still pulling up to the building is the same way Cortana might be a little off with its alerts.
My Name based alerts work splendidly, however. "Cortana remind me to curse out my brother Mike when next I call him". I get that reminder every single time. Works like a charm!!!
