Cortana not working on HTC 8X

I tryed everything but I cannot make it work. I cannot change the language settings to US so I cannot install Cortana. Does someone have an advice? I really want to try Cortana...

What do you mean you cannot change stuff, can you access localization settings?

I changed region stettings, keyboard settings, the speech function is set on US, buw when I try to set US as primar language, it fails.
I can only set it to UK because no language setting is found on when setting US.

I don't believe you are going to get it to work. You have to set everything including the keyboard to US English for the beta to run. There are a lot of international 8X users with this issue.

All HTC devices cannot get Cortana because we don't have the US ROM installed by HTC, we only have the UK ROM. You'll have to wait till Cortana is released in the UK to get it
