Cortana says it is not supported in my region - Canada?

Cortana says it is not supported in my region - Canada

I have checked (double checked) that my region and language are correct.
I have downloaded the Canadian )English pack.
But it still will not work on my laptop.
I just bought an ASUS with Windows 10.
Any suggestions?

Hey Cortana does not work in Canada. I set my phone to the UK region. Which screws up a lot of timed events

I'm in Canada, and Cortana works fine on my PC, Surface, and phone.

Could you be more specific about what's not working? Can you launch Cortana at all?

On my Surface Pro 3, yes. Unless something has changed - I don't typically use the Hey, Cortana feature. It was definitely working last I checked, though.

FYI, I just tried on my Surface, and it still works fine.

Region: Canada
Language: English (Canada)
Speech Language: English (Canada)

I don't know if it makes a difference but I don't have any other language packs installed.
