Cortana sports scores alerts not working

I turned on sports scores alerts today. The Tigers played at 8pm, and won 10-1. However she didn't issue one alert all game.

Does anyone know how that's supposed to work? The way it's described it sounds like an alert should be issued any time one of your teams score.

I have one set for the Tigers and the Red Wings. The live updates are on the Cortana tile or obviously if you open the tile. The alert only happens when the game is over. Has done that consistently over the past two weeks.

Hey sorry, yeah I realized that it only comes after the game, which I suppose is a better way, however it would be cool to have a choice to be updated on each score.

It would be nice to get an update for each score, so you don't have to constantly watch an app or check the tile. Especially since it's playoff season for hockey fans

It's not Cortana, but the At-Bat app can give you those scoring updates during games if you so want.

ESPN Scorecenter app can. I've had pretty good results with the alerts. Can't quite say the same about the live tile.
