Could Evan Spiegel be paid by Google to stop snap chat? Or is he just a d**k?

I was thinking, Google seems scared of WP, and has been trying to block the road in front with whatever they can find. Do you think they could be secretly paying Evan Spiegel to stop Snapchat coming to Windows Phone? I mean, sure he's dumb, but any CEO would at least ACCEPT the proposition that someone should develop an app for you (Rudy Huyn) for free. It could seem far fetched, but I don't really see what else could make sense, and it just seems to fit with Google's policy towards Microsoft cough cough YouTube cough, and they know how important apps like that are to a platform's development.

Lets not be delusional, there's no way google is "scared" of WP, with 2.7% market share what's there to actually be scared of?

The scared one is the snapchat, they wouldnt like the third party apps to be a source of snapchat's proneness to cyber illegal activities.

Exactly.
They're also scared that the huge amount of $ their speculative investors have poured into will see no returns. So they're circling the wagons.
There's no money in Snapchat's future. And unlikely to be. Who knows what their ********* boss's business plan is (if he has one), but with no glimmer of monetization on the horizon, that's got to be worrying.
Worrying for the investors. Ever Spongy probably doesn't care one jot - he's practically drowning in money foolish investors have been persuaded to part with. Good luck to him, but his company's gonna go titsup big time.

They are scared that the "." in 2.7% should go away, and they are doing everything to stop it leaving. Why were they such a*ses about YouTube, if hey weren't a minimum worried? For the fun? I doubt it.

As my English teacher would point out: false binary!

Of course anything's possible. Maybe we need some tinfoil hats in here. I started playing Deus Ex: Human Revolution you know.

The latter seems about true... He's probably just waiting for Microsoft to make an offer to purchase the app/company, which I hope it never does.

So, the reason apps are pulled from WP and carriers aren't selling them is one big conspiracy after another, if I read Windows Central correctly. Google, Apple, carriers, carrier reps, CEOs, lazy developers, and even Microsoft are involved. Is that right?
