Whether HackingTeam did it or not I don't know but considering nothing is 100% secure I am sure someone out there already hacked the platform to some extent.

they are probably making the claim based on a jailbroken Samsung phone....I doubt this is happening across all phones.

I suspect that any story that attempts to show WP in a unsafe light is suspect. These kinds of stories always follow major WP success stories. ALWAYS!

Skeptic here until I see a real demo.

The jailbreak in the Windows RT world is temporary hack and WP8 has a similar security model/protection. I guess a similar thing might be possible but not sure if it's ultimately much use.
