couple questions... sd cards and zune software

Hi all,

I am about to remove a 16gb card from my focus and replace it with a 32. I just wanted to see if anyone had removed a card before and had success with installing another. I assume i just take the card out and then factory reset?

Another question I have is on the zune pc software. Does it back up/restore apps yet? I got the 16gb when i first got the phone but i remember reading then that if you default it that you have to redownload all of the apps from the phone marketplace if thats where you got them and that zune will only remember the ones you got with the software. Is that still the case and will i lose all of my save games?

Yes you will lose all your saves and Zune still will only re-install any programs downloaded from the software. As for the card issue I'll let a Focus owner handle that.

SD card steps

1: hard reset phone
2: turn phone off and take SD card OUT
3: put in new card and turn phone ON
4: go to setting -> about : to make sure its reading it
5: do an OTHER hard reset ( they say to do this to be safe )
6. your done.

save games = LOST
app u got on phone needs to be re-Dl from phone
Apps u got on ZUNE can be Dl from your PC

you can still see ALL the app/games u got on your phone from ZUNE on the pc doh .. its a good reminder of what u paid for.

Thanks a lot guys I appreciate it. Wish they would build that feature into the zune software, seems like kind of a natural thing .
