CPU and Graphics Combinations

Has anyone been able to identify any CPU models and graphics details yet? I sincerely hope this isn't running the Intel HD Graphics 4600 still. I would hope this would at least be running Iris.

I'll be happy with a HD5000, though I half suspect they probably stuck with the same GPUs as SP2.

That is the key differentiator for me. I want a Razer Blade 2014 model but I would consider saving money and going with the 2nd to the top model if the GPU is Iris at least.

I have spoken with a source at Microsoft that says he's pretty sure it's the Intel HD 4600 chip just like the Surface Pro 2 only now you have an i7 option.

Seems to imply that it (at least the i5) will have the HD4400.

Sorry, I meant the 4400, not the 4600.

It seems like they underclocked it as well since the typical normal speed is 1.9 GHz according to Intel and performance benchmarks. So that seems to be how they got that speed in that small of a form factor. An ultra-low voltage CPU that is underclocked - genius! I'm not sure I would want to see how this performs during prolonged, cpu intense tasks though.
