Cracked lens Nokia 810

Does anyone know if the lens cover on a Nokia 810 can be repaired? The camera still takes very nice pics and videos, but occasionally you can see it. I've had this for 1 year and never had a phone do this before. If not, I would like to just remove the glass that is cracked, but not sure how. I would have been nice had the back cover actually held the glass piece so I could just replace that part.

It probably can be repaired, the question is however, how difficult it is, and whether you will be able to obtain a replacement part.

Another option is buying up an 810 that's broken in some other regard and plundering that for parts. (such as those for parts listings on ebay)

Here's hoping the teardown procedure is documented somewhere.

Thanks for the video. I should be able to figure something out. I guess I'll be buying a case for my next phone so this doesn't happen again. I hate cases...
