Currectly sync time on phone

Hello. How do I properly sync my phone's time to match any Internet time? I have been trying to sync it, clicking the Check button as soon as the Internet time reached x:xx:00. But after waiting to see if it was done correctly, I see that my phone changes seconds earlier. These seconds vary from 20 seconds earlier, to 15 and 8, more or less. It appears that the "first minute" last a few seconds less. So, how do I sync it correctly. It annoys me to don't have the correct time. Also, I don't have the Set Automatically the option turned on. It doesn't work either.

I found a topic on answers.microsoft.com where someone states that the time - when set to "set automatically" - is provided by your carrier.
Unfortunatelly I can't confirm it since I only have a WP8 device.
Have you tried setting the time manually? Does there still variation in time occur?

I was doing it manually. But now I've fixed it, by observing the pattern of change it had between some tries. It is a few milliseconds late, but it is better than nothing. One can't normally see this delay, so it's okay. Thanks for the help!
